Culmen International Expands Global Research and Monitoring Capabilities Through Acquisition of Premise

Alexandria, VA – August 12, 2025 — Culmen International is proud to announce the acquisition of the public sector business of the Premise Data Corporation, a technology-driven provider of remote data research, monitoring and evaluation solutions, with a global network of more than 5 million contributors spanning over 140 countries. This strategic acquisition significantly enhances Culmen’s capacity to deliver real-time global insights and local data research in support of U.S. and international government customers, non-governmental organizations (NGO), and select commercial partners working in the safety, security, public health, and humanitarian sectors.

Premise rapidly provides high-quality data insights on emerging issues ranging from health security and humanitarian response to stabilization efforts, elections monitoring, infrastructure status, and supply chain conditions using its proprietary mobile-based platform. The platform enables real-time visibility and situational awareness in hard-to-reach or remote areas allowing Culmen to deliver on-the-ground insights to inform Customer decision making and optimize program outcomes.

New features include next generation Large Language Models (LLMs) and deep learning techniques to identify data gaps and remediate them with on-ground insights and expert analytics. The company is actively developing its predictive situational monitoring capability. This functionality leverages emerging Agentic AI techniques to automate and accelerate the identification of open-source information gaps, generate data validation plans, and engage local ecosystems to authenticate and enrich operational understanding through unique, primary data.
