David Bischof

David Bischof is Culmen International’s Chief Technology Officer, leading its product and engineering teams around AI, software development, cloud infrastructure and IT/Security. Mr. Bischof has over 25 years of experience in tech that span multiple disciplines including system administration, graphics design, web UI, mobile apps, data engineering, cloud technologies and AI integration and is still very much hands on with coding. He has worked for some of the largest banks in the US, large retail companies as well as startup companies from Series A to E. 

Over the last 15+ years, he has been working with government entities, both CONUS AND OCONUS, that encompass city, county, state and federal levels striving to implement innovative solutions to difficult problems.

Prior to joining Culmen, Mr. Bischof was the Chief Product Officer of Premise Data where he also held the roles of Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technology Officer at various stages of his tenure. He helped grow the company from 2 customers to over 100 in 7 years, doubling revenue year over year for the first 4 years at the company. Prior to Premise, he was at Accela helping implement software for government management including asset inspections, commercial licensing and building permits as its head of architecture and solutions engineering.

Mr. Bischof graduated from John Carroll University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on MIS. His love of gaming drew him away from going to law school to pursue his passion with technology. He still enjoys gaming with his son, when not spending time with his Wife, in Cleveland, Ohio where he is also an avid power lifter.
