At Culmen, we often talk about mission. But behind every mission is something even more important, our people. That’s why we’re proud to share that Culmen has been recognized with the 2025 Silver Healthy Workforce Designation™ from Cigna Healthcare. This is a milestone that reflects the everyday effort we put into supporting our employees’ well-being.
What This Recognition Means
The Cigna Healthy Workforce Designation™ recognizes organizations that prioritize employee health, well-being, and a supportive workplace culture. Our workforce operates across continents and time zones, and we recognize that supporting our diverse staff requires more than just benefits, it requires intention and consistency. For us, this recognition reflects how HR shows up for our people every day.
How We Put Well-Being Into Practice
Our approach to wellness is simple: make it accessible, practical, and relevant to real life.
Encouraging Movement and Connection.
Programs like the Around the World Activity Challenge give our employees flexible ways to stay active. More importantly, they create a shared experience across teams that may never meet in person.
Supporting Mental Health and Resilience.
We recognize that our work can be demanding. That’s why we provide access to a 24/7 Employee Assistance Program, along with wellness sessions that give employees real tools to manage stress and stay balanced.
Promoting Preventive Care.
We also focus on long-term health. Incentives for annual physicals and well-woman exams are a simple but important way we encourage employees to stay proactive about their health.
Why It Matters to Culmen
Well-being isn’t separate from performance, it’s what allows our employees to do their best work. Theresa Walsh is our HR Generalist at Culmen International, where she focuses on supporting employees throughout the HR lifecycle, with an emphasis on onboarding and employee experience. She enjoys collaborating with colleagues across all teams and serving as a welcoming presence for new hires. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her kids and dog.
